Craigmore Estate Tea

$18.50

This specialty tea is a great morning brew with its stunning amber colour and full-bodied taste. Perfect for kiwi drinkers that like to wash down a hearty cooked breakfast.

Harvested in 2019, the liquor has a full mouthfeel yet remains clean and brisk. The taste is nice and woody with a subtle aroma of forest floor flowers. This brew has a lot to offer and demands attention and it's well worth the time. Drink this tea straight or with a dash of milk for it to take on a lovely coppery hue.

Tracing its origins back to 1884, the Craigmore Tea Estate is among the oldest and most reputed tea gardens in India with it producing high-quality orthodox teas to discerning customers for over 135 years. Located in the Nilgiri district in Tamil Nadu, the plantation is spread over 1200 hectares and they produce around 2 million kgs of tea (thats around 800 million cups of tea per year)

With stunning views of the famous Blue Mountains, that are rich in biodiversity and an impressive cascading waterfall nearby makes Craigmore among the most beautiful tea gardens in the world.

For best results, we recommend 2-3g/250ml at 95˚c for 2-4 minutes depending on how strong you like it (If you have milk with it brew it for the full 4 min).

GRADE: FBOP1 (Flowery Broken Orange Pekoe) Smaller leaves for a stronger brew.
This tea is not organic, but don't hold that against it. It is lovely.
