The most common type of tea drunk in western society. India, Ceylon (Sri Lanka) and Kenya produce the most famous of blacks teas such as Assam, Darjeeling, Uva, and Dimbulla teas. Black tea contains vitamins, antioxidants, polyphenols, and essential oils as well as higher levels of caffeine and tannins.
