A beautifully fresh scented high-grade green tea from China's Fujian region. The newly sprouted tea leaves are hand-picked in the spring, naturally scented with fresh jasmine flowers and expertly hand rolled into pearls.
Handcrafted at a third generation family tea farm in the Fujian province, China. Producing these pearls are A time-intensive process to roll each leaf by hand into a pearl, a good roller can produce 1kg per day.
It brews into a Fragrant, smooth, light green tea with a pleasant jasmine floral aroma. This tea strikes a balance between the green tea and the jasmine scent.
The leaves may be re-infused multiple times. When steeped, the pearls slowly unfurl into long dragon-shaped leaves releasing their rich jasmine bouquet. The pearls shape which makes this beautiful tea so easy to measure and dispense.
The rolled pearls are dried, then layered on bamboo mats alternating with layers of unopened night-blooming jasmine flowers. Over the course of a night, the flowers open and release their aroma into the tea, flavouring it and giving it the heady scent associated with the tea.
