Giving Back

Noble & Savage are committed not only to supportng our partners but the communities we serve:

• In 2014, partners contributed more than half a million community service hours to organizations around the world.
• We have hired more than 4,000 veterans and military spouses.

• We have enrolled more than 3,000 partners in the Arizona State University online program through our College Achievement Plan.

• We have contributed more than $5M in support of youth education and mentorship support through our partnership with Oprah Winfrey, with a portion of the proceeds from Teavana Oprah Chai.

Teavana recently forged a national partnership with Girls Inc. in support of youth education, mentorship, college readiness and training, donating $100,000 to benefit young women across the U.S. and Canada. The partnership, which is the beginning of a longer term relationship between the two organizations, will help support specific programming for college readiness and life skills training across six affiliate organizations in the U.S.

Beginning with Atlanta, Georgia; Holyoke and Worcester, Massachusetts; Orange County, California; New York City and Westchester County, New York, Teavana’s initial investment in Girls Inc. will support hundreds of young women, primarily ages 14-17, as they prepare for the transition from high school to college or from high school to a career. Girls will learn about college during summer camps and workshops, develop into strong leaders through community service and training, and be supported and honored by caring mentors, their peers, and their communities. Girls Inc. supports diverse young women ages 6 – 18 and provides tailored support for these young women of underserved communities.  Learn More

Teavana joined the Ethical Tea Partnership (ETP) as the 40th member, effective April 1, 2015. Sarah Roberts, ETP’s Executive Director, said, “Teavana is a significant contributor to the growing popularity and interest in high quality, loose leaf tea and the innovation possible in this significant growth category. Starbucks, with a long-term commitment to ethical sourcing, sustainable practices, and investment in local communities, has been an active participant in ETP for many years. We are now delighted to be adding Teavana to our list of members; with the same core values for taking care of tea farming communities and supporting ethical sourcing practices, we know Teavana will be a great addition as the 40th member of ETP.”  Learn More
